Workshops and Seminars
The NCES conducts hands on workshops and seminars for exercise, health, and medical professionals. These presentations usually consist of either a half day format or full day format and feature a wide range of topics. The NCES directors, members of the NCES Medical/Scientific Advisory board, and other industry experts serve as featured speakers and instructors.
2000 NCES Health and
Fitness Symposium
On Saturday October 28, 2000 in Chicago, Illinois the NCES conducted
its annual Health and Fitness Symposium for exercise professionals. A
diverse group of industry professionals from around the country attended and
participated
in the day's presentations. Attendance was up ~
15% over last year's NCES workshop. The NCES videotaped all of the formal
presentations and is in the process of making the tape available for

1999 NCES Midwest Strength and Conditioning Workshop
On Saturday October 16, 1999 in Chicago, Illinois the NCES conducted a strength and conditioning workshop for exercise professionals. The workshop was attended by approximately 30 exercise instructors from various areas of the country. The NCES received many positive comments and feedback regarding the quality of the information presented and everyone agreed that this first NCES workshop presentation was a grand success!
